Bridgestone Museum of Art Renovation Report: No. 1

2016.01.14
Happy New Year!

Last year the museum closed on May 18 for what will be a long period of reconstruction. Now, a half year later, the dismantling of our old building is progressing. Seen from the outside, this nine-story building seems to have all but disappeared. As of the end of last year, it had been dismantled down to the first floor. This year, the removal of the underground parts of the building begins.

It will be not much longer until we begin the construction of our new museum.
